Aurio Tino Francisco is an Agricultural Hydraulic Engineer with extensive experience in topography and mapping. He is specialized in remote sensing equipment such as drones for creating elevation models and land classification. With a degree from the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Gaza, and experience in water management and irrigation & drainage system design and operations.
Aurio has worked with various organizations as a consultant, trainer, and field technician. He has managed precision farming tools, designed new agricultural production areas, and conducted topographic surveys using RTK equipment. His work also includes mapping of agricultural areas in real-time using drones and creating elevation models for irrigation systems design.
Aurio has been involved in several projects such as APSAN-Vale, WAPOR phase 2, and PROMAC II. His main activities carried out include the design of small-scale irrigation systems projects, technical assistance to farmers in the Zambezi Valley using drones, training in the use and maintenance of drones for agriculture, GIS data management, and financial proposal management.
